Mbale Cumpas: we currently operate on two different sites. Our primary site is a small compound which we pay a large sum of money monthly to rent. Here, over two hundred children attend school and thirty orphans are cared for. The second location is located just out of town in the Centre of a poverty stricken village. We were able to purchase this property through the help of donations.

Two unfinished buildings existed on this site. We were able to finish the smaller of the two buildings through the help of volunteer fundraising. The completed building is composed of four small classrooms. In this building nearly one hundred underprivileged students are educated.

This building provides us with a very limited amount of classroom space.

Completion of the second building will provide us with five additional larger classrooms. The second building currently lacks a roof. The only facility which can be located in this building is the kitchen, where meals are prepared for the staff and children twice a day. The lack of shade makes it very difficult to work on sunny days and rain and thunderstorms are frequent in this country. At this time, without a roof, it is impossible to use the buildings full potential; the exposure to the elements is too extreme.
