CHILDREN NEED A SPONSOR
Contrary to European system, school is not mandatory. Free school doesn’t exist. The fees are expensive, and many parents can’t afford to pay for their children’s education. These kids are in the streets and sometimes they have to work (child labor). Actually, according to the estimation, around 45% of Uganda’s children are still non-educated and don’t go to school.
That the reason why Taata Kids, thanks to the sponsors, we can afford to pay school fees for our students.
But nowadays, unfortunately we need more sponsor for the students. Some are orphans, some pay weekly the school fees (that mean when their parents can give money). Sometimes, some family can’t educate all their kids.
This five kids need to find a sponsor, to be educated, and you hope a better future. But more Taata Kids International School Students need a sponsor, please have a look here :
Sponsoring a child means pay the school for a year or more, develop a friendship with a sunny kid. But it also makes the children happy (because they are curious, they ask so many questions to the volunteers who come from all over the world, to help the school) But you can also for example make a single mother the happiest girl of Uganda, or a family who will save money for future and so on…) You can be an opportunity to raise the kids and he could have a better future, but his siblings and the family also.
In exchange we will send you photos, videos, drawings, letters or reporting marks. And of course, you can write to the kid, send whatever you want.
To be sure that the money you will give, will really be use for the child education, Taata Kids will receive the money.
There are also some testimonies and beautiful story :
EZERA“On January 2019, when our volunteer Soline (called Teacher soso) came back to France, she showed all the pictures taken at Taata Kids International School.
And thanks to the fate, one of her friends was looking to sponsor a child.
She felt in love with Ezera, a 3 years old boy in Baby Class, and who doesn’t like photos.
Now she sponsor him for all his studies at Taata Kids international school
Photos, draws, marks, reporting will be sent to her.
That how a sponsorship begins, with love, hope and generosity. “
Anna-Patience“I’m Anna-Path’ as everybody call me at Taata Kids International School, I has been sponsor sine Primary three (8 years old). I’m currently in Primary Seven, and I’m 13 yo. I work hard to pass the final exam. In the future, I want to be a nurse. I stay with my grand-mother in nkoma, in Mbale. I have 7 siblings.
Thank to a big sponsorship platform, Esther, from Germany sponsored me. I don’t meet her yet, but I would like so much to thank her “in real”. My sponsor pays my school fees and my uniform every years. In exchange, I send to Esther my marks report, my result and my work.”
