Reintegrating street children into families and the community is the most powerful and sustainable form of providing them with support. This community based approach has proved to be a “good practice”. It engages the community volunteers and the children have to make their own decisions to quit the streets. This usually has a lasting impact on the street children. Tracing for the families and resettling the children is done throughout the year.

The children attend the rehabilitation program for at least one year and on completion, they are enrolled into either formal schools or vocational training centers.

TAATA KIDS’ longtime experience of working with street children is enriched by well trained staff and modest structures to enable street children access rehabilitation and education.
